UPDATE: Evonik’s production plant in Deer Park, Texas has resumed full operations

Evonik Oil Additives USA Inc. temporarily shut down its production in Deer Park, Texas on Saturday, August 26th, due to Tropical Storm Harvey. We are pleased to announce that the plant resumed full operations on Tuesday, September 5th.

The plant did not experience any water damage to tanks, rail cars or inventories. All equipment and utilities are functional. Our internal and third party drumming and warehouse operations have not been damaged, and are also fully operational.

We continue to communicate with our suppliers to determine their ability to deliver expected levels of raw materials and services, and verify that the announcement of sales controls and force majeure conditions will not impact our raw material supplies.

Thanks to all that have expressed concerns and offered support during this challenging time. We commend the performance of Evonik’s Deer Park staff for their dedication and professional response to this event.
